Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) MP Orhan Karasar, the party’s mayoral candidate for the City of Iskenderun, Seyfi Dingil, and several other officials paid a visit to the Forty Martyrs Armenian Church of Iskenderun.   

In the run-up to the forthcoming local government elections, Dingil is actively visiting various social, political, and religious organizations in the city, reports Iskenderunhaber website of Turkey.

The guests were welcomed by Church pastor, Fr. Avedis Tabasyan, chairman Garbis Kisadur of the Church Fund, and vice-chairman Mikael Tabas.

At the meeting, the guests were informed about the needs of the local Armenian community.       

Seyfi Dingil promised that, if elected, he will do good things for Iskenderun and the local Armenian community.
