YEREVAN. – Armenia attaches great importance to development of relations with friendly China, Armenian PM said.

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan on Friday received the delegation of the representatives of China's communist party's central committee.

He underscored importance of the development of contacts between Armenia and China, noting considerable potential for deepening of ties. This year Armenia plans to increase the export of brandy, agricultural products and cigarettes to China.

In turn, the head of Chinese delegation said his country appreciates the efforts aimed at expanding relations with China.

“Armenia is one of the most reliable partners, and we consider important development of bilateral ties,” he said.

The interlocutors noted importance of attracting Chinese air companies to the Armenian market that will result in development of contacts in the field of tourism. In this context, the sides noted importance of relaxing visa requirements.

Premier thanked Chinese government for supporting Armenia.
