YEREVAN. – A group of Armenian and Russian businessmen are holding talks and developing cooperation projects in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.

An Armenian-Russian business forum got underway Monday at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia.

Along the lines of the business forum, the Armenian and Russian businessmen defined the circles of the investments and trade ties, and signed agreements which include the formation of the Russian-led Customs Union, and the organization of activities that meet the requirements of this union.

On Tuesday, the business forum participants had a meeting at Yerevan Municipality, and discussed the avenues for improving the transport, construction, and investment activities in the capital city.

In addition, the Russian businessmen visited the scenic sights of Armenia.

They also will visit large and small industrial enterprises of Yerevan, and sign cooperation agreements on the spot.

The three-day business trip will end on Wednesday.
