YEREVAN. – European lawmakers realize that Armenia has not abandoned European integration after deciding to join Customs Union, MP and head of the Armenian delegation to Euronest Artak Zakaryan told reporters.

“Integration in Customs Union and Common Economic Area have essence disparate from European integration. These directions will never contradict one another,” Zakaryan said summing up the Euronest meeting results.

Cooperation based on common system of values will continue just as close personal contacts of the Armenian MPs with a number of European colleagues, Zakaryan assured.
