YEREVAN. – The only possible way out of the Ukrainian crisis can be organization of snap parliamentary and presidential elections in the country, Ukrainian political analyst Maksim Tsarenko told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Under the current conditions, mechanical reformation of the power structures is out of the question, the only option is “a complete restart of the power vertical”, Tsarenko believes.

“Both the government and the opposition should abandon the use of force and return to the negotiating table. From this perspective, the only possible step should be a joint statement of the authorities and the opposition leaders renouncing violent methods of struggle,” Tsarenko said.

Violent clashes between anti-government protesters and law enforcers in Kyiv resulted in the death 25 people, including 10 policemen.
