YEREVAN. – EU has been and remains one of the most important partners of Armenia, Deputy Speaker of the Armenian parliament Eduard Sharmazanov said during the meeting of EU Advisory Group.
He believes the document adopted by EU and Armenian during the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius confirmed the effectiveness of the passed way.
“We area ready to continue political reforms that will make Armenia more democratic. It is obvious that Armenian society won as a result of cooperation,” he said.
The parliamentary cooperation has registered significant progress, too. The official pointed at active cooperation of National Assembly and European Parliament, as well as within the framework of Euronest.
“We hope that Armenia-EU cooperation will continue and will be effective because everything that is being done is in the interests of the Armenian society,” Sharmazanov concluded.
