Businessman Stepan Chorokhyan, 47, was killed in Simferopol, Ukraine, as he was stabbed six and shot three times, Segodnya.ua reports.    

According to the information by a representative of the local police department, the assailants had shot Chorokhyan in the head and chest.  

Local media report that the businessman’s debts may be one of the motives for the murder. His car was set on fire about two months ago.  

Chorokhyan owned a hotel complex, and he was married and had one son and one daughter.  

Stepan Chorokhyan was killed at the entrance of his home on Monday evening.  

A criminal case is launched on the incident.
