YEREVAN. – A farewell ceremony for Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili, who is in Armenia on an official visit, was held Friday at the Palace of the President of Armenia.   

At the private talk that was held prior to the ceremony, the presidents of the two countries summed up the results of the talks that were held within the framework of Margvelashvili’s visit, informs the Press Office of the President of Armenia.

According to the parties, the aforesaid talks will give a new impetus to the development of Armenian-Georgian relations, and the deepening of cooperation in several domains of mutual interest.      

On the same day, Giorgi Margvelashvili will pay a visit to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, where he will meet with Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.

Following the working dinner with President Serzh Sargsyan, the delegation led by the president of Georgia will depart from Armenia.
