YEREVAN. – Police officers and employees of  Emergency Situations Ministry have gathered in the house belonging to governor of Aragatsotn Region Sargis Sahakyan after an alert was received.

According to Armenian News-NEWS.am sources, Sargis Sahakyan alerted police as he found natural gas tanks and other equipment in his house which is under construction in Ashtarak, not far from capitalc ity Yerevan. Police officers and rescuers are working at the scene.

The agency contacted the governor who refused to clarify the details.
