At the talk, an agreement was reached to continue the activities toward the preparation of a bilateral document, the Armenian National Security Council secretary’s spokesperson Artur Misakyan told, Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The first meeting of the working group was convened on February 27 in Moscow. They conferred on the possible avenues for resolving the immigration issues of the Armenian citizens who arrive and who are in Russia.

“As a solution alternative, the Armenian party proposed to sign a respective bilateral international agreement, which will specify the Armenian and the Russian citizens’ right to freedom of movement and residency in one another’s territories.

“An agreement was reached to carry out information assurance by the immigration services of the two countries, and to continue the discussions toward the preparation and signing of a bilateral document that contains solutions,” Misakyan specifically noted.
