Russian Finance Ministry is considering the options of providing financial aid to Ukraine in case economic situation deteriorates, Minister Anton Siluanov said.

During the meeting of Russian president Vladimir Putin with the Cabinet, Siluanov said international partners are offering support, first of all at the expense of IMF sources. Besides, U.S. and EU states are initiating support to the country, RIA Novosti reported.

“We also must consider different options of providing support if the economic situation deteriorates,” he said. 

He said the Ministry had established interaction with the Finance Ministry of Crimea.
