YEREVAN. – An unfortunate incident occurred Tuesday on board an airplane that was en route from Moscow to Yerevan.  
Armenian News-NEWS.am had learned that a middle-aged female passenger on board the aircraft had died.  

According to the passengers who had witnessed the incident, the woman had felt ill and died shortly thereafter.

Armenia Police confirmed to Armenian News-NEWS.am the veracity of the incident that occurred on board the plane, and also provided some details.  

According to official information, the said woman had health issues, and she had died suddenly during the flight, and as a result of a sharp deterioration of her health.    

The woman was a 34-year-old Russian Federation citizen, by the name of Anzhelika.

The circumstances of the incident are being ascertained.
