The experts, who are investigating the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines passenger plane, do not rule out the possibility of it being hijacked.

The Malaysian authorities verified that the debris, which earlier was found in the South China Sea, was not of the disappeared aircraft.

“Although there is still no result, we continue the search [for the plane],” the Malaysia Airlines release stated, reports ITAR-TASS news agency of Russia.

The Malaysia Airlines plane, which was en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8, disappeared from the radar screens at 2:40am, local time. The aircraft was carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew members.
