YEREVAN. – Armenia's capital hosted the first Serbian-Armenian business forum organized by Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Armenian Development Agency.

The opening of the forum was attended by Serbian Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkic and Armenian Economy Minister Vahram Avanesyan. The sides noted mutual interest in development of trade and added that development of bilateral contacts will help to exploit existing potential.

In 2013 the export from Armenia to Serbia increased significantly thanks to export of copper concentrate, reaching $5.6 million as compared to $78,000 in 2012. Import from Serbia reached around $2.5 million as compared to $1.8 million in 2012.
