YEREVAN. – “As usual Azerbaijan MFA distorts and misrepresents the essence and content of talks with OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.”

Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Press Secretary Tigran Balayan tweeted the abovementioned with respect to the recent statement by the Azerbaijani foreign ministry.

Following Azerbaijan FM Elmar Mammadyarov’s meeting, on Monday in Paris, with the Co-Chairs, the Azerbaijani MFA issued a statement noting that Mammadyarov had said that Azerbaijan is prepared to sign a comprehensive peace agreement, but the Armenian armed forces must withdraw from the “occupied territories of Azerbaijan.”
