Two earthquakes were recorded in Azerbaijan in the early morning hours on Saturday.
A magnitude-4 quake occurred 42 kilometers to the northeast of Guba at 4:59am, local time, reported Trend news agency of Azerbaijan.
The tremors were recorded 3 km below the sea, and they were felt up to magnitude 3 in nearby settlements.
Separately, an earthquake measuring magnitude 4.2 occurred 22 kilometers to the northwest of Lankaran at 6:21am, local time.
The tremors were recorded 24 km beneath the surface in Masalli region, and they measured 3 to 4 in nearby settlements.
There are no reports on any casualties, or devastation.
