YEREVAN. – The Rescue Service of Armenia received an emergency call on Tuesday at 12:30am.

According to the call, a bus belonging to Royal Safar Company of Iran, and which was heading between Armenia’s capital city Yerevan and the Iranian capital city Tehran, had gone off road on Armenia’s Yerevan-Meghri motorway and gotten stuck in blizzard, and rescuers were needed.  

A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers were able to bring the vehicle back onto the road.  

The firefighters and rescue workers transferred eight passengers to Vayk city to spend the night.
