Moscow State Academy AMoscow State Academy Art Institute coworker, architect, and ICOMOS/Armenia organization member Armen Ghazaryan was presented the “Research” Award.     

Ghazaryan was presented the award at the European Union annual award ceremony.     

“The winners of the 2014 European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage/Europa Nostra Awards are unveiled by the European Commission and Europa Nostra.

“The 27 laureates, selected from 160 nominated projects across 30 countries, are honoured for achievements in four areas: conservation; research; dedicated service; education, training and awareness-raising,” the Europa Nostra’s respective statement specifically reads. 

Armen Ghazaryan was presented the “Research” Award for his four-volume work titled” 7th Century Church Architecture of South Caucasus.”
