YEREVAN. – A representative from the Ministry of Defense (MOD) command unit will represent Armenia at the session of the commanders of the Armed Forces General Staffs of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries.   

The MOD press service informed the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

But the name of Armenia’s representative is not yet announced.

Accordingly, Chief of the Armenian Armed Forces General Staff, Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov will not attend the meeting.

The session will be convened on April 7 and 8 in Azerbaijani capital city Baku.

Such an event will be held in Azerbaijan for the first time.
