YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 412.90/$1 in Armenia, on Friday; this rate is an AMD 0.83 rise from Thursday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 566.50 (down by AMD 0.22), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.54 (down by AMD 0.04), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 685.99 (up by AMD 0.72), the Central Bank of Armenia press service informed.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 17,204.45, AMD 261.25, and AMD 18,638.16, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled USD 4.35 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 414/$1, and the trading session likewise closed at AMD 414/$1, the stock exchange informed.
