YEREVAN. –  An international training course “SEE A Game” is being held by Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan (YCCD) in Dilijan starting from March 23.

The training course has gathered 22 participants from different EU and neighbouring countries: Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Turkey, Latvia, Czech Republic, Malta, Hungary, Ukraine, Belarus, Romania and Croatia in Dilijan, Armenia.

The training course “SEE A Game” (SEE stands for “Strengthening Entrepreneurship in Europe”) is dedicated to the new methods of entrepreneurship among young people living in different countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

The organizers of this project aim at teaching youth workers, leaders, trainers from different countries innovative, non-formal, game-based learning activities which help to develop entrepreneurial attitudes. Participants are involved in various game activities getting new skills by competing and collaborating. During the daily sessions a strong stress is being put onto developing entrepreneurial skills through simulation games. Participants have particularly learned two such games: MENU, a competitive role-playing game and FAIR, a collaborative card game.

Such games aim at strengthening young entrepreneurs ensuring that they are capable to compete in the market economy, and they can see the opportunities beyond their countries. “SEE A Game” works with game-based learning to foster motivation and increase learning effectiveness.

Project participants have also contributed to the learning process by coming up with their own games that could help to develop entrepreneurial abilities of young people.
 
During the training course participants also had a visit to Yerevan exploring the rich heritage of the hosting country and touching upon the cultural specifics of Armenia.
