STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic—or Artsakh—National Assembly (NKR NA) Speaker Ashot Ghulyan is in Germany on a working visit.

Ghulyan on Wednesday held talks with several members of the German Bundestag (Parliament), and presented the peculiarities of state-building in NKR.

An emphasis was placed on the importance of Artsakh’s engagement in international processes, the NKR NA press service informed. The parties also discussed the avenues for a pacific settlement to the Karabakh-Azerbaijan conflict. 
On Wednesday evening, the Karabakh parliament leader met with representatives of the Armenian community organizations of the German capital city Berlin.

On behalf of the people of Artsakh, Ghulyan thanked the German-Armenian community for its constant assistance and support to NKR, and spoke about the reforms that were carried out and the successes that were achieved in Artsakh in recent years.

At the end of the evening, and as a sign of gratitude, the NKR NA speaker awarded the Karabakh movement 25th anniversary commemorative medal to the Armenian Church and Cultural Community of Berlin, the Armenian community in Berlin, and the Association of Armenian and European professionals.
