STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan on Friday was on hand at the artillery regimental tactic exercises of the NKR Defense Army.

The Artsakh Air Force also participated in the maneuvers, informed the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.

The Commander-in-Chief of the NKR Armed Forces underscored the need to keep the Defense Army’s combat-readiness high, and stressed that the state will do its utmost in this respect.

Armenia and NKR Defense Ministers Seyran Ohanyan and Movses Hakobyan, NKR Deputy Prime Minister Arthur Aghabekyan, and several other officials also monitored the military drills.
