YEREVAN. – The personality of new prime minister is not important, the most significant is holding structural reforms that will bring solution to the problems, MP Alexander Arzumanyan said.

Arzumanyan recalled that country registered no progress over 6-7 years when Tigran Sargsyan was heading the Cabinet.

“I would avoid from giving assessments of the appointment of new prime minister in advance. We have to wait till he presents the program and starts implementing it,” Arzumanyan added.

As for the pension reform, the MP noted that Abrahamyan is a person of compromise and he will possibly find the way out till September 30. However, there are directions where PM will continue the course of the previous government, Arzumanyan said, citing accession to Customs Union as an example.
