YEREVAN. – Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan on Wednesday received a delegation led by Ambassador Angelo Gnaedinger, the Special Representative of the Swiss OSCE Chairmanship for the South Caucasus.

The parties reflected on regional security, ceasefire violations on the Line of Contact between the Armenian and Azerbaijani forces, and the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, the Armenia MOD press service informed.

The Armenian defense minister expressed concern that the Conventional Armed Forces in Europe Treaty and the Vienna Document 2011 are not serving as restrictive factors, and this situation results in an arms race.   

The interlocutors also discussed the OSCE-implemented projects on defense reforms in Armenia.
