Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev issued a message of congratulations to Hovik Abrahamyan on his appointment as Prime Minister of Armenia.

“The allied relations and strategic partnership connect Russia and Armenia.

“I am confident that the further development of our bilateral cooperation, [and] the Armenian partners’ joining the Eurasian integration process are consistent with the interests of our countries.

“I stand ready for constructive work with you on collaboration between the Governments of Armenia and Russia,” Medvedev’s message specifically reads.
