YEREVAN. – For Armenia the Genocide was a crime without any response, Brown University (Rhode Island, USA) expert Adam Sacks stated.

Sacks noted the aforementioned at the international conference, titled “The Caucasian Frontline of the First World War: Genocide, Refugees and Humanitarian Assistance,” which got underway Monday at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute in capital city Yerevan.

As per the American expert, Armenians and Jews are sister nations that have experienced a shock as a consequence of deportation, massacres, and persecution.

He stressed that the events which occurred during the Armenian Genocide are covered more than those which transpired at the time of the Jewish Holocaust.

“The greatest silence was inaction, or noninterference. There was also an exploiting silence to oversee the aftermath of the Armenian Genocide, and an alleged silence, a notion that the Genocide could have been predicted based on specific circumstances,” Adam Sacks stated.
