Social-Democratic Hnchakyan Party (SDHP) Armenia Board Chairman Narek Galstyan and several other members of the board hosted a group of Kurdish and Alawite figures, who are visiting Armenia to pay tribute to the Armenian Genocide victims.

The Kurdish and Alawite intellectuals expressed their support to the Armenian people, and condemned Turkey’s official policy of Genocide denial, the SDHP press service reported. They also noted that the Armenian genocide’s recognition and condemnation is the fight and objective of not solely the Armenians, but of all national minorities living in Turkey.

In turn, Galstyan noted that the SDHP’s struggle is not aimed at the Turkish people, but rather against Turkey’s state policy, which denies the Armenian Genocide and continues an anti-Armenian policy, already for nearly one-hundred years.
