YEREVAN. – At the invitation of Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, a Lithuanian delegation, led by Minister of National Defence Juozas Olekas, has arrived in Armenia on Wednesday, and on a one-day official visit.

Within the framework of the visit, the two ministers held a private talk and, subsequently, an extended meeting was conducted between the parties, the Armenia MOD press service informed. 

They conferred on Armenian-Lithuanian bilateral military cooperation as well as regional and international security issues. The interlocutors also gave a high assessment to the high level of cooperation between the defense ministries of both countries.

In addition, the Lithuanian delegation paid a visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial, and laid a wreath to the monument to the Genocide victims.
