STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Bako Sahakyan received president of the “Michael Tariverdiyev” Charitable Fund, the widow of the prominent composer Vera Tariverdiyeva and Russian poet Victor Konoplev.

President Sahakyan said Artsakh people are proud of their compatriot who has become a world-famous composer, adding that his works enjoy great popularity in NKR. A number of issues related to the development of music in Artsakh were discussed, NKR president's press service reported.

Minister of Education and Science Slava Asryan and other officials participated in the meeting.
