Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, who is in the Czech Republic capital city Prague on a working visit and to participate in the high-level meeting on the five-year anniversary of the Eastern Partnership, on Friday met with Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili.

The interlocutors discussed Armenian-Georgian relations and underscored the high-level mutual visits and talks. 

President Sargsyan stressed that an effective basis has been created to raise Armenia-Georgia relations to a qualitatively new level.  

Speaking about the development of economic collaboration, the presidents highlighted the cooperation in transportation, transport communication, and in several other mutually beneficial domains.

The presidents of Armenia and Georgia also reflected on regional matters and challenges.
