YEREVAN. – Education-related agreements are planned to be signed with Armenia, and within the framework of the Customs Union and the Eurasian Economic Union, since a common economic market also assumes a common labor market, which brings forth a common education space.   

Armenia Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan stated the aforesaid to reporters on Wednesday.

He added that, at present, a separate and a uniform education system does not work within the Customs Union.
“We were very a right to choose the direction of reforms. Armenia cannot be isolated from the world, the European education space; this is in the interest of our young generation.

“Given that we [Armenia] have amassed a large amount of European knowhow, our country may be of great interest to the other Eurasian Union member states. And the European capital, which was acquired in this domain, is one of the best in the world,” Ashotyan specifically noted.
