YEREVAN. – There was heavy rainfall in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan, early in the morning on Tuesday.

According to official data, the total length of Yerevan’s streets is 750.3 kilometers whose 721.6 kilometers (over 96 percent) are considered to be in “good condition.” But is this the case?

The asphalt of the city streets is filled with cracks and pits within a few months.

After the rains “lakes” are formed on the roads, and there are numerous impassable puddles on the sidewalks, too.

The surprising thing is that such a disgrace continues for decades, and there seems to be no change for the better.
