YEREVAN. – It is commendable that Hovik Abrahamyan will not give connivance to the rude and the uncouth, but a question rises as to how this will be done.

Politologists’ Union of Armenia Chairman Hmayak Hovhannisyan told the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am commenting on PM Abrahamyan recent statement.

“Senior officials [in Armenia] have a critical attitude toward their rude demeanor, and they try to improve, or correct, their actions. [But] life will show the extent that they will succeed,” Hovhannisyan added.

Nevertheless, the political scientist is convinced that under Armenia’s conditions, when people get positions through money, it is hard to expect a normal demeanor, especially since “the businesses [in the country] have not gotten rid of their criminal stamp, and the conduct that is conditioned on that stamp.”
