An earthquake has hit the Caspian Sea on Saturday.
The next quake occurred at 11:05am local time in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
The Azerbaijan Republic Seismological Service Center told APA news agency of Azerbaijan that the 5.4-magnitude seismic activity shook the Caspian Sea.
The depth of the tremor was 84 km, and it was felt in capital city Baku, too.
A 3.1-magnitude earthquake had hit the Caspian Sea at 3:18am local time. The depth of this tremor was 45 km, but it was not felt.
