YEREVAN. – According to the January-April data for this year, Turkey’s share in Armenia’s external trade comprised 7.5 percent, and, furthermore, Armenia’s exports to that country are 63 times less than its imports. 

In the first quarter of the year, citrus fruits made up 8.5 percent of the goods which Armenia imported from Turkey, and the other products’ share was 2-4 percent. 

In addition, construction material, shoes, and clothes also are the major products which Armenia imports from Turkey.

In the aforesaid first quarter, Armenia imported 3,500 pairs of expensive shoes and 1 147,000 pairs of cheap shoes—including house slippers—from Turkey.
