YEREVAN. –  The government decided to exempt Armenia national football squad and Spartak Moscow forward Yura Movsisyan from comuplsary military service.

According to written explanations, the decision to exempt Movsisyan from compulsory military service is due to the need to ensure Movsisyan’s participation in the qualifying rounds for the European Championship that will start nthis fall.

Movsisyan has scored nine goals for the Armenian national team in 26 matches. He became the best scorer in the Russian championship in 2012-2013 season.
