Artak Shaboyan, Chairman of the Armenian State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (ASCPEC), has traveled to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, on a working visit. 

Shaboyan on Friday met with NKR Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, the ASCPEC press service informed. They conferred on economic development, specifically the competitive domain of the two Armenian republics. Harutyunyan highly assessed cooperation with ASCPEC.       

Subsequently, the heads of the economic competition departments of the two countries held a meeting. 

Next, Artak Shaboyan and Levon Mnatsakanyan co-chaired a session, during which sanctions were issued against several unscrupulous businesses.

Shaboyan presented the results of the joint activities in the past three years and underscored legislative changes.  

At the end of the session, the economic competition departments of Armenia and Artsakh signed a memorandum of cooperation.
