The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs work hard to find ways of resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

US Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern told the aforesaid to the Voice of America (VOA) Armenian service.

As per Heffern, OSCE Minsk Group US Co-Chair James Warlick was instructed to push hard the two parties.

“There is very little progress in negotiations. Ambassador James Warlick was instructed to push hard, to find the way to get the parties talking more,” he said.

Responding to the query on Russia’s arms sales to Azerbaijan, the American diplomat stressed that he is not the ambassador to Azerbaijan, and therefore he does not know what these countries are doing.

Heffern, however, recalled that in numerous statements the Minsk Group co-chairs have sharply criticized the military rhetoric, purchasing of weapons, and provocative actions.
