TBILISI. – The Dolma 2014 festival-contest, which was devoted to this Armenian national dish, was held Sunday at the yard of the St. Etchmiadzin Armenian Church in Georgia’s capital city Tbilisi.

The press service of the Georgian Diocese of the Armeian Apostolic Church informed the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The caldrons with around twenty types of dolma, which the Tbilisi-Armenian women had prepared, were displayed on the tables that were set up at the churchyard.    

Tasting the dolma, numerous guests gave a high evaluation to this traditional Armenian dish. 

In addition, song and dance ensembles and individual performers made those in attendance enjoy their time. The contest winners received prizes and gifts, and blessed spiritual icons were distributed to the competitors.
