A ban on production and sale of synthetic lingerie in Russia and Customs Union member states comes into force on Tuesday. In particular lace panties and bras are banned under new rules.

Earlier experts expressed indignation in connection with the decision. An MP from Just Russia party Mikhail Serdyuk has applied to the ministry of industry and trade. He believes instead of banning lace lingerie, the officials should have drawn attention to teaching women which lingerie harmful to their health.
