YEREVAN. – Armenia's Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Thursday received Lebanon's Energy and Water Minister Arthur Nazarian, who is Armenian by origin.

Noting traditional friendly ties between Armenia and Lebanon, Abrahamyan said he would spare no effort so that the relations could register positive movement and cooperation could deepen.

The sides underscored importance to strengthen trade and economic ties. In this context, the parties noted necessity of intensifying work of inter-governmental commission that would give a new impetus to cooperation.

Hovik Abrahamyan and Arthur Nazarian exchanged views on the Middle East developments and touched upon the new challenges that Armenian communities are faced with.

Armenian PM extended greetings to his Lebanese counterpart and invited him to visit Armenia.
