A 65-year-old female passenger aboard a Novosibirsk-Khabarovsk (Russia) flight started suffocating as a donut had gotten stuck in her trachea.
As a result, the flight crew decided to make an emergency landing in Bratsk, Russia.
The physicians who came aboard the plane, however, declared the woman dead, the Interfax news agency reported.
Forensic examination confirmed that the woman had died of asphyxiation.
But a criminal case was not opened, since the death was due to natural causes.
