YEREVAN. – Armenia has no need for constitutional reforms. 

Opposition Heritage Party Chairman, ex-presidential candidate, former FM Raffi Hovannisian stated the above-said at a press conference on Tuesday.

“At present, when the country’s authorities are illegitimate, our fellow citizens don’t need constitutional reforms. What reforms when the [Armenian] authorities are elected unconstitutionally?” Hovannisian asked.    

According to him, if we mull over the very same constitutional reforms, we will see that there are many controversial issues—especially on the President’s seven-year term—in these reforms, too.
