YEREVAN. – Russia wants to make Armenia’s Eurasian Union accession become more convenient for everyone, Zhamanak daily reported.

“EurAsEC Institute Director [General] Vladimir Lepyokhin made this statement yesterday [Tuesday] during a conference that took place in [Armenia’s capital city] Yerevan.

“In fact, [official] Moscow has begun bringing reasons that justify the delay in Armenia’s [Eurasian Union] accession, and the ‘expert mind,’ which in Russia’s case is basically the unofficial mind   of the Kremlin, perhaps will work in this very direction that Russia is delaying Armenia’s accession in consideration of it [the accession] being more convenient for Armenia itself.

“The Kremlin is truly in a difficult situation in the Eurasian Union,” Zhamanak daily wrote.
