YEREVAN. – The Netherlands will provide grant support to Armenia for reintegration of illegal migrants. The Armenian government approved the measure during session on Thursday.
 
Chief of State Migration Service Gagik Yeganyan said those who were forcibly expelled from the Netherlands in the last six months and those who agreed to return voluntarily can apply for the assistance.

The first phase of the program is intended for 100 people. Support will be given to those who will apply for it to the end of 2014. The amount will be available for reintegration in Armenia, for employment, specialty courses, getting temporary accommodation.

Similar agreements with other countries of the European Union are not excluded, but have not been reached yet, the official added.

Armenia and EU signed readmission agreement in April 2013 in Brussels.
