YEREVAN. – Despite the relative calm in Armenia’s political field due to summer vacation, especially when watching the visual media people may get the impression that the presidential elections are coming soon and several persons are already making presidential campaign moves, Azg weekly reported.

“Among some this appears with an unprecedented activeness, as it is with PM Hovik Abrahamyan, for example, who does not prefer sitting in the office [and] methodically resolving matters one after the other, but rather he is on constant trips; he heads to villages, borders, gets in touch with the people, which our folks usually do close to the elections.

“[Orinats Yerkir (Rule of Law) Party] RLP leader Arthur Baghdasaryan, who recently became an opposition, does not hide his plans to participate in the presidential race in the future,” Azg wrote.
