YEREVAN. – Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) President Ruben Hayrapetyan will not head for Brazil to be on hand for the 2014 FIFA World Cup final, since the Armenia national squad is not in the final. Hayrapetyan told the abovementioned to several reporters, including the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent. 

“I don’t root for any other [national] squad except for the Armenia [national] squad. We go to the [World Cup] opening ceremony where the federation presidents are required to come together. But attendance to the closing ceremony is not mandatory,” the FFA boss specifically said.   

In addition, Hayrapetyan denied the press reports that Armenia President Serzh Sargsyan will be on hand at the World Cup final. 

“Serzh Sargsyan will not go and has not gone to Brazil. I have no such information,” he added.  
Argentina and Germany will face each other in Sunday’s 2014 FIFA World Cup grand final.
