YEREVAN. – Armenia will join Eurasian Economic Union in the near future. This was noted during a meeting between Armenian and Russian prime ministers Hovik Abrahamyan and Dmitry Medvedev in Sochi.

The prime ministers hailed the growing trade turnover volume between the states and noted that it will gain momentum with Armenia's accession to the Union, Armenian government's press service reported.

The parties expressed confidence that the signing of agreement on accession to the Eurasian Economic Union will happen in the near future.
