Business Insider issued the list of 35 most powerful militaries in the world. According to the ranking, the American army is the most powerful in the world and is followed by the Russian armed forces and  China on the third spot.

American army has more than 145 million serviceman, while Russia has over 69 million.

Top ten also includes India, UK, France, Germany, Turkey, South Korea and Japan.
